Typically, this time of year would conjure up visions of crowded beaches, kids running off to camp, summer blockbusters, and of course... VACATION. Being incredibly cautious about flattening the curve is on our minds, but that won’t stop us from dreaming of all the fantastic vacation destinations we want to visit this season.

What could be more sumptuous than waking up on your hotel Island, walking two feet, and slipping into the warm crystalline waters of the Maldives. The photos of this spot are so completely breathtaking that I almost don’t need to visit. Psych. Get me there now.
Notable experiences in the Maldives include snorkeling, volunteering to help conserve and research endangered whale sharks, water sports of every kind imaginable, journeying to the unbelievable island of Naifaru to volunteer for sea turtle rehabilitation, and visiting the Male fish market for some extra delicious mango.

Kyoto is like something out of a fairytale. There is so much beauty packed into this space. From Buddhist temples, to imperial palaces, to picturesque wooden houses. It’s no wonder this used to be the country’s capital for over a thousand years!
If you get a chance to travel here, make sure to see a Geisha show and try some traditional Kyoto Kaiseki dining.

It may not be the first name on your travel itinerary, but don’t sleep on it because Dubrovnik may be one of the most stunning spots in the world! It only takes up a mere eight square miles but the massive stone walls that have surrounded this coastal city since the 16th century are awesome to behold.
Dubrovnik is a great spot for architecture lovers interested in seeing baroque, renaissance, and gothic palaces and churches all in one place. And if you are a Game of Thrones lover you will be thrilled to learn that this city was the location filmed to be King’s Landing.

It’s hard to believe that this photo isn’t from another planet but amazingly, Namibia is a place on Earth.
It has so much to offer. You can traverse the dunes of the Kalahari desert or explore the incredible Etosha Salt Pan, the largest in Africa and even visible from space! If you have fantasies about meeting Timon and Pumbaa from The Lion King you will be pleased to meet amazing African animals at any of Namibia’s many wildlife parks. Or even volunteering at a wildlife conservation -- the possibilities are endless!
For travel lovers, Cartagena is the perfect vacation destination. A mixture of colorful colonial buildings, white sand beaches, and cobblestone streets makes this city a delight whether you're laying on the beach or hanging out in your hotel.
Old and new sit side by side in Cartagena. One day you can visit the cafes and boutiques that pepper the streets of Old Town and the next you can take in the view from one of Bocagrande’s highrises. Or visit the Zenú Gold Museum located within a colonial mansion in Plaza de Bolivar. Explore a 50-foot-tall mud bath renowned for its therapeutic qualities which was once a real, active volcano!
