What an experience it has been living socially distanced these past few months. Major parts of our lives have changed including our relationship with getting dressed. For the first few weeks at home you probably revelled in the fun of being able to wear jammies for a whole day. But once that high wore off we all wondered how we could reinvigorate our style to fit with our new at-home lives.
Now that we are beginning to think about what our lives will be post covid, we’re inspired to look back at these moments and think about what trends from this period will carry into the future!

Loungewear has been an absolute necessity for quarantine life. For our team accessorizing PJ’s with DLEX pieces has made these garments feel invigorated for the whole day. Using loungewear as the base for a complete look is something to look out for as people begin to venture out of their homes!
SWEATS
A valuable lesson we have all learned during this time is that comfort doesn’t need to come second to style. Sweat looks during covid have been so impactful! If you can style these pieces as well as people have in the last few months, why can’t you wear them to work as well? Definitely loving this trend and excited to see the new ways people will be styling sweats in the days to come!
PLAYING W/ STYLE AT HOME
The pillow challenge was the greatest thing to happen on insta in the past few months. Such a joyful expression of fashion! It got me thinking about how quarantine has opened up a space for people to be experimental with the types of fabrics and shapes they turn into clothing. Hopefully people will continue to see their at-home spaces as sanctuaries where they can try out new ways to style!
The biggest trend we have seen in clothing is playfulness. Whether you're styling with your bf’s clothing, trying a new eye shadow, or finding new ways to wear your jewels. Being able to see people play with their fashion is something that will continue to inspire us!
UTILITY
There is a new heightened awareness that comes with going outside. People’s desire to feel prepared and powerful has expressed itself through utility clothing. Don’t be surprised if you’re seeing cargo pants, boiler suits, and utility vests everywhere. Full sized pockets and coverage might be just what you needed!
